Organisational Health & Wellbeing
“To win in the marketplace, you must first win in the workplace.”
Doug Conant
At Adare we believe that people are the key to unlocking your Organisation’s potential. Organisational Health & Wellbeing is foundational to enabling your employees to contribute to your Organisation actively, purposefully and passionately.
Our view of Organisational Health & Wellbeing is summarised in our bespoke Organisational Health & Wellbeing model:
Adare and our Specialised Partners offer a wide range of services that can address your Organisational or individual employee needs.
The main point of Health & Wellbeing is not merely to have people in the office who smile more. Rather it is the downstream effects of well-being: People have high well-being to be more productive, have better physical health and are more peaceful.

- Organisational Health & Wellbeing Status Check
- Health & Wellbeing Compliance – alignment to legislation

Health and Safety
In Ireland the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, and its Regulations addresses the duties and responsibilities for all individuals who may come in to contact with an organisation, employer, employee, contractor, visitors, member of the public etc.
We prepare our clients by:
- Conducting a Health and Safety site audit to determine your existing physical health and safety status and risk assessments.
- Based on the site audit, we craft a Safety Statement to support your Organisation’s unique requirements.
- Providing support in the delivery of corrective actions, and required training (such as but not limited to: Safety Representative Training, First Aid Responder Training, Fire Warden Training, Cardiac First Responder, Manual Handling Training, etc.)
- Optional: Health and Safety outsourced resource support over a temporary and fixed period.
Health & Wellbeing Governance
Policies provide guidance and aligned legislative compliance on the organisational approach to enhance the access and supports of a given Health & Wellbeing Programme.
Adare support Organisations by articulating their desired Health & Wellbeing intent through related policies like, but not limited to:
- Women’s health (Menopause, Fertility and Menstrual Policies)
- Mental Health (mental health days, manager training, on-demand counselling)
- Hybrid and Flexible Work Policies
Key Returns
- Compliance: Alignment to legislation and regulatory requirements
- Strategic Enablement: By providing Health & Wellbeing governance and policy adoption this drives key returns on investment like improved productivity, lower absenteeism, lower turnover, and improved engagement
